For those called to full-time vocational ministry, Calvary provides two unique internship experiences. Both experiences, the in-semester part-time and summer full-time internships, give students the opportunity to learn and practice pastoral ministry skills.
During their time at Calvary, every intern will be given a front-row seat to ministry in a local church context. They will be involved with hospital visitation, staff and leadership meetings, retreats and camps, pastoral care, platform ministry, and so much more.
Please note that the full-time summer internship application deadline is March 1st. All summer applicants will be informed whether they have been selected for a summer internship by April 1st. All part-time interns are accepted on a rolling admission.
The summer internship at Calvary was such a great experience. After learning so much at Gordon-Conwell, it was a great way to ground my education in experience. I also had the opportunity to serve in many different ministries and with several different pastors, which exposed me to so many methods, viewpoints and ways of doing ministry.
